IDEC Foundation Mission
IDECF invests in interior design education, research, and leadership to advance the design profession and improve the human experience in the designed environment. The IDEC Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose primary goal is to support the objectives of the Interior Design Educators Council and to advance the profession by supporting educational, research, and creative opportunities for educators and students. Maintaining IDEC’s leadership in the field of interior design education rests, in part, on our ability to sustain a solid financial foundation. The IDEC Foundation depends on the generosity of IDEC friends and members in order to support that mission. People donate to the IDEC Foundation for a variety of reasons. The foundation is fortunate to have regular donors who contribute on an annual basis, others who offer gifts in tribute or memory of IDEC members, and those who have established endowed funds. IDEC also offers the option of estate planning through our IDEC Legacy Society. Giving to the IDEC Foundation reflects the significance you place on interior design education and research, as well as the organization that leads the way in this important profession. |
The Interior Design Educators Council Foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to the IDECF are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. The IDECF's tax identification number is 35-2160193.
